Submit to the Library
The Frame Library is two folders in the Vellum repository: official/ and community/. Community frames arrive by pull request. Because frames are data, never code, the automated checks and a quick review are the whole process.
Before you submit
Section titled “Before you submit”- Your frame passes the two rules. The creator and the tests both check.
- You made it, or you have the right to share it. Don’t include art or text from a published game book.
- It has a clear name and a one-line description.
How to submit
Section titled “How to submit”- Export your frame as a file, or write it by hand.
- Fork the repository and add the file to the community folder for its game.
- Open a pull request. Say which game it’s for and attach a screenshot at 640 × 360.
The checks validate the file against the frame schema and the two rules. A maintainer reviews the rest. Once merged, your frame ships in the next build of the app, on the Community shelf, labelled unofficial and credited to you.
What we won’t merge
Section titled “What we won’t merge”Frames that break the rules, that copy a publisher’s trade dress or art, or that use names or text you don’t have rights to.
