Control

Hands on the game,
not the mouse.

During a session you shouldn't have to dig through OBS to mark a point of HP. Vellum takes input from a click or a programmable hotkey, and both send the same command.

Two ways in

Pick the one that fits your desk.

Click

Live

Click a pip on the HUD in OBS's Interact window. It works today and stays as the fallback.

Programmable hotkeys

Live

Load the Vellum script in OBS (Tools, Scripts) and bind keys in OBS's Hotkeys settings. Any keyboard, macro pad or button controller that can send a key combination will drive them, even while OBS is in the background.

A starting layout

Six keys cover a session.

The commands are relative, so two quick presses always add up to two. Bind as many or as few as you like.

  • Hope up and down
  • Mark HP and Stress
  • Spend Armor
  • Toggle a condition
  • Switch frames mid-session

Under the hood

One path for every input.

Every input becomes one typed command, such as "add 1 to Hope". The HUD is the only thing that changes your sheet: it applies the command, saves it, and redraws. A key press and a click take the same path, so they can never disagree.

Set it up

The guide walks through loading the script and binding your keys.
